CURRENT BASELINE

A working training environment

This workspace implements discovery, Read → Edit → Write, commands, cached readings, alarms and sampled history. XWEB and boss have separate workflows; their layout is a documented approximation, not an audited replica of vendor firmware.

The topology editor belongs to this simulator. The boss view uses the same XR77CX training devices; a CAREL-specific controller profile is not implemented yet.

Thermal constants, thresholds, delays and serial defaults are training assumptions, not verified factory values. No raw Modbus register addresses are invented.

MODEL CONTRACT

XR77CX · extensible profile

Four separate states: editable draft, controller parameters, last successful read and stored sample. A disconnected controller keeps running. Acknowledging an alarm retains the active fault.

RS485 is simulated logically: open/reversed wires, duplicate addresses and serial mismatch. Analog waveforms, EMI, reflections and hardware communication are outside this version.

Not implemented in this version

Vendor authentication/password policy, schedules, escalation/resend, RTC calendars, full parameter tables, protocol frames, historical reports beyond CSV, high-frequency/FSM modes and calibrated refrigeration physics.
